Rhinoplasty
You can expect a thorough explanation of the surgeon's expectations and the risks involved in surgery. Following a joint decision by you and Dr. Han to proceed with rhinoplasty, Dr. Han will take photographs of you in his studio and discuss the options available to improve the appearance of your nose from all visual angles. Computer imaging simulation will be performed to illustrate the likely post-operative results, based on the input from you as well as professional recommendations by Dr. Han. When nasal breathing and functional issues exist, a high resolution computerized tomography (CT) scan will be obtained in the office, in multiple orientations to further display your nasal bone, cartilage and soft tissue structures, and to discover any nasosinus diseases if present. This advanced study allows the surgeons to plan the precise bone and cartilage sculpting that is custom tailored to you, since our deep nasal structures are unique to each of us like our finger prints. The three dimensional CT images of the nasal structures to be reshaped and sculpted provide Dr. Han with tremendous accuracy in his preoperative planning and assist his decision making during surgery to achieve an optimal outcome.
